It has been two years since I last wrote a blog about Cosmic Womb of Potential by David Birnbaum. There are a lot of other philosophy books, but I could not forget how impressive, unique, and sophisticated Birnbaum’s theory (Potentialism and Extraordinariation) was when I started reading his books. So, I decided to go through all his books again to enlighten my potential and extraordinary instinct.

Part I: The Cosmic Womb of Potential explains that “The ‘Cosmic Womb of Potential’ nourishes, enhances, and sustains the potentializing of all aspects of the Cosmic order – including itself. Nourished, enhanced and sustained within this womb, and, indeed, integral to it, we live and attempt to thrive and advance.”

Most people want to advance all aspects of their potential in life. I feel everyday that I try harder and harder to be a better person and try to achieve stronger potential. Changing habits and becoming a better person are not easy. Sometimes it could be very hard. I tend to look for something that I am used to; comfort zone.

Birnbaum describes in Part I, “This infinitely expanding dynamic/entity strives after its own maximal potential, relentlessly advancing and expanding, again, recursively, a womb woven within a womb within a womb.

I should understand that my first step to achieve my maximal goal (potential), will not be easy. No one can force me, promise me, and give everything I want. As I become an adult, I realized that I cannot control everything, but I should pay attention to how I respond. Although I cannot control most of things, there is one thing that I figured I can control. It is myself. I like BIrnbaum’s comment, “relentlessly advancing and expanding, again, recursively, a womb woven within a womb.”

I think that having a goal, although sometimes it would be harder to reach that goal, is much better in life than not having any purpose in life.

내가 대이빗 범바움이 쓴 잠재력에대한 우주의 자궁 을 마지막으로 쓴지 벌써 2년이 되었다. 철학에 대한 책은 이리 저리 많지만, 나는 범바움의 잠재력, 대범함 에대한 이론이 아주 마음에들고 독특하고 창의적이었다는것이 기억났다. 그래서 나는 나 잠재력과 독특함을 더욱 넓히기 위해 다시 한번 더 범바움의 책을 읽기로 하엿다.

Part I : 우주 잠재력의 자궁은 우주 모든 순서에 대한 측면에 영양분을 주고, 향상시키고, 발전시킨다고 한다. 그리고 사실 우리들은 그 잠재력을 얻고 시도하며 산다고 한다.

대부분의 사람들은 그들의 삶에서 모든 잠재력에 대한 측면을 향상 시키려고 한다. 나는 매일마다 더 나은 사람이 되려고 시도 하고 더 강한 잠재력을 얻기위해 살아간다고 생각한다. 습관을 바꾸는것은 쉽지 않다. 때때론 무척 어려울 수도 있다. 나는 내가 편한한 것만 찾으려고 한다.

범바움은 Part I 에서 무한적으로 평창되는 다이나믹은 이것 자신의 최대한의 잠재성 다음에야 얻어진다고 한다. 계속 적으로 지지 않고 앞으로 전진 하고 평창하고, 다시, 되풀이 적이게 자궁안의 자궁에서 노력해야 한다고 한다.

나의 최대한의 목적을 얻기위해서의 나의 첫 스텝은 쉽지 않을것이라는 것을 이해해야 한다. 아무도 나를 강요하거나 약속하거나 내가 필요한 모든것을 줄수는 없다. 내가 어른이 되가면서, 나는 내가 모든것을 컨트롤 할수없다는것을 깨달았다. 하지만 내가 어떻게 반응 하느냐가 중요하다는 것을 깨달았다. 내가 컨트롤 할수 있는 단 한가지는 바로 나 자신 뿐이다. 나는 범바움이 말한 “쉬지말고 진행하고 평창하고, 다시, 되풀이 되도록, 자궁안에서 자궁안에서”라는 말이 참 좋다.

나는 가끔 우리가 목표에 향해 가는것을 어려울 지라도 목표를 가지고 있는것이 우리의 삶에서 목표가 없는 것 보다 훨씬 좋다고 생각한다.
