Birnbaum illustrates on page 33, the period before the creation of any of the visible word, of man, and of time. The story goes “The God of Israel, Lord of Lords, King of Kings gathered his 100 Archangels,” asking for an advise. He mentions that “Shall I proceed forward or not?, If I do not proceed, clearly you will never see realization as more than Ideas, as more than Visions, as more than possibilities.”
Sometimes, you do not know what to do in your life, and probably need a life counselor. You may have some problems with your co workers at work, with families and friends. Whichever decision you make; talking to your co workers what you did wrong or what the other person did wrong and try to solve the problem, same with your family and friends, you will realize “as more than ideas, as more than visions, and as more than possibilities.” After you tell them, it may work out well and bond a better relationship with them, or it may go worse. Nevertheless, I think it is worth proceeding your thought forward.
Another example is that if you want to know whether you would like the new dress you just bought. You ask one of your friends, and she says she really likes the dress. You ask another friend, and she says it doesn’t look good on you and disappoint you. You go online and see ambivalence reviews. As Birnbaum describes that “I seek your celestial counsel, one by one the Archangels of the universe stepped forth,” you also may want to seek for an advise. But, you should realize that everyone has different perspectives, and you should not depend on their thoughts and concerns.
범바움은 책 33쪽에서 사람과 볼수있는 형체가 생기기 전의 시대를 이야기 한다. 그 이야기는 이스라엘의 신, 신의 신, 왕의 왕이 100명의 엔젤들을 불러놓는 이야기이다. 범바움은 책에 내가 앞으로 나가야되나요 말아야되나요 하고 질문을 하고, 만약 내가 전진 하지 않는다면, 분명하게 생각, 시각, 그리고 현실적인것보다 더한것을 볼수 없을거라고 한다.
만약 당신이 당신에 삶에대해 무엇을 정해야 할지 잘 모른다면, 아마 삶 카운슬러가 필요할 것이다. 당신은 아마 직장에서 직원들과, 가족들과 그리고 친구들과 문제가 있을수 있다. 직장동료들과 다 털어 놓고 얘기 하며 화해 하던가 어떤 의견을 당신이 만들간에, 당신은 그것이 “생각보다, 비젼보다, 가능성보다 더 한다”는 것을 깨달으게 될것이다. 당신이 그들에게 속마음을 털어놓고도 일이 잘 풀릴수도 있고 안풀릴수도 있지만, 나는 다 속 시원 하게 푸는것이 더 낫다고 생각한다.
또 다른 예로는 만약 당신이 새로운 드레스를 샀는데 너가 이것을 진짜로 좋아하는지 아닌지 감이 안잡힐때 당신은 친구들 한테 물어본다. 한친구는 그 드레스가 너무 좋다고 하지만, 다른 친구는 싫다고 할수도 있다. 인터넷에서도 여러가지 의견이 제시 되어있다. 당신은 아마 이런 상황 일때도 충고를 찾을수도 있다. 하지만, 그 충고들을 고지곧데로 그냥 다 듣지 말고, 걸러 가며, 자신에게 맞는 충고를 헤아려야 한다고 생각한다.
